Welcome to Paradise!
Catalina’s Hideaway is an eco-aware beachfront space off the beaten path.
Their luxurious casitas & treehouse are nestled on 2.5 acres of pristine coastline; where the jungle meets the ocean. On the way to the popular surf and dive town of Santa Catalina, but also hidden where travelers can immerse themselves in the undisturbed nature of Panama.
The open air restaurant & bar, “Sobremesa”, highlights a farm-to-table philosophy and features an array of cocktails and snacks for your enjoyment at our beachfront lounge or infinity pool.
The close-by Coiba National Park offers some of the clearest waters in the area, with outstanding snorkeling (optional excursion)... it's going to be whale shark season while we are there!!!
Imagine yourself walking a beautiful empty beach, going out for a gorgeous paddle board adventure or simply sitting by the salt water pool with a smoothie... it's going to be marvelous!

About Catalina's Hideaway
Situated on a secluded and dramatic beachfront, Catalina’s Hideaway is located approximately 10 minutes outside of Santa Catalina. You can often walk in our bay for miles and only bump into the odd wild horse or see a few locals fishing & clamming. With an abundance of wildlife and flora you can truly experience Panama’s natural beauty tucked away in our unique oasis.
The beachfront restaurant and bar, Sobremesa, has lively welcoming decor, a library and games area, and an infinity pool complete with daybeds, loungers, and shade. We also share with you our passion for music with our turntables and live acoustic set up. If you sneak around back, you will also discover our cozy stargazing chillout area. The all-natural elevated wood yoga deck sits within our old growth palms on the beach

These spacious casitas (Beach Front + Junior Beach Front) are an ideal refuge from the outside world and are footsteps from the beach. Each room was designed with unique tiles, handcrafted art, and finishes from a Canadian company focused on sustainability and ethical sourcing from around the globe. This hideaway include a secluded loft space with two twin beds; perfect for families or small groups exploring together.
TREEHOUSE & ARBOLITA- Double or Single
Wake-up in the treetops! Our canopy treehouses are specifically designed for you to immerse yourself in nature with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open up to the surrounding jungle. The interiors are complemented by beautifully handcrafted art and finishes from a Canadian company focused on sustainability and ethical sourcing from around the globe.
Elevated and overlooking our freshwater pond, your only neighbors will be bright-colored parrots and other exotic birds on your private jungle patio.
BELLWOODS INN - Double or Single
Nestled on our stunning 1-acre natural pond, the Bellwoods Inn is The Hideaway’s spin on your traditional cottage or lakehouse, except with more flare. Comprised of 4 spacious hideaways with luxury furnishings, these rooms are for the wildlife lovers.
The private screened-in porches overlook the pond and are the perfect place to unwind and experience all of the natural flora and fauna that Catalina’s Hideaway has to offer. Parrots, blue herons, egrets, hawks, hummingbirds, iguanas, lizards, turtles, a wide variety of frogs, crocodiles and cayman are some of our regular sightings.
Luxe rooms feature beautiful outdoor showers for the ultimate nature experience.

Welcome to your luxurious immersive experience! All prices are per person and include 6 nights accommodations, 3 nourishing meals and an afternoon snack each day, round-trip group transportation to and from Panama City, and retreat instruction/facilitation.

Shared spaces at Catalina's Hideaway
Sombremesa Restaurant: snacks and smoothies throughout the day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as refreshing drinks and cocktails. We have carefully curated our menu to source as many local and homegrown ingredients as possible in order to satisfy all palates and dietary needs.
Lounge poolside with a drink in one hand and a book in the other while waves crumble just beyond the palm trees. Or slide up to our one-of-a-kind bar top, made from dark purple Nazareno, salvaged from the Darien Jungle. Dine in our open-air restaurant, where we care about food, music, and atmosphere— cue jungle sounds and laughter.
Our goal at Sobremesa is to provide fresh innovative food and drink in a gorgeous and comfortable setting while taking advantage of our ocean views and natural jungle landscape.
Saltwater Infinity Pool: Refresh in our infinity pool with the ocean breeze and a cocktail in hand, chill on a shady poolside chaise lounger, or one of our cozy daybeds. The view and the vibe are unparalleled.
Clubhouse: Whatever your pleasure, our clubhouse is the perfect place to chill and relax in a beanbag chair, play a board game or read your favorite book. Make this space your communal living room.
Yoga Deck: Gorgeous, private, almond-wood beachfront yoga deck offers stunning ocean views with salty tropical breezes and all the props you need!
Standup Paddle: We have 4 boards here at The Hideaway and the perfect bay for heading out on the water at high tide. Head out solo, as a couple, or a little SUP gang and get your paddle groove on! Head out on the water at high tide right in front of Catalina's Hideaway.

We will send a detailed schedule to participants as we get closer to the event.
Plan on arriving in Panama City at the latest on Saturday February 24th. We will send hotel recommendations that partner with Catalina's Hideaway and will try to have a group meal together Saturday evening. We will be picked up as a group in Panama City to travel to Santa Catalina on Sunday morning the 25th.
Departure from the retreat center will be Saturday March 2nd. Consider flying out of Panama city Sunday March 3rd or later for easy, spacious travel. Panama City is an incredible and safe cultural destination if you want to extend your stay!

Her spiritual coaching, classes and retreats explore the themes of developing consciousness, building intuition & self-awareness, living from the heart and creating a fulfilling life.
As the curator of Blossom Wellness Center, she offers holistic coaching for individuals & groups, intuitive bodywork sessions and yoga, ecstatic dance & meditation classes in Montpelier, Vermont.
Andreas
An avid student in the classroom of life, Andreas has practiced with wisdomkeepers, holistic healers and mystics throughout the Americas. From meditation to alternative medicine to creativity to animistic and transformational lifeways, he’s always eager to take a dive with you to co-create a path towards a more blissful and vibrant life. He spends most of his time creating and exploring conscious media that strives to reflect the stunning animistic web of connection within and all around us, inspiring movements of reverence, beauty, embodied truth and love.
