Marisa Hall

Ayurvedic Bodywork
Wellness Consultations

 

Whether receiving or treating others, Ayurvedic Bodywork is Marisa’s true passion. In her own words, “Ayurveda has brought my life so many profound and priceless gifts, and I am humbled beyond measure to share this intelligent body of healing arts with my community.”

Marisa specializes in:

She offers her healing work with love, attention and grace, and is always learning new healing techniques!


When not working her magic on her clients or laughing in the Blossom hallway, you can find Marisa pouring her love into MJH Ayurvedic Botanicals, falling in love again and again with the Green Mountains, and doing her best to accept her perfect imperfection and encouraging others to do the same.

Jess’ approach to her life and work is gentle, intuitive, open-hearted, and rooted in a deep, loving presence. She is passionate about providing the space for people to develop greater awareness and accelerate their inner-growth and healing.Skilled at helping you discover your own unique gifts and talents, Jess’s compassionate presence naturally facilitates healing and helps you experience the truth of your own Being.

Jess studied Heart-based Meditation and Spiritual Mentoring with Dr. Paul Dugliss, MD, at the New World Ayurveda School. She studies Ayurvedic bodywork under Joanie Bégin-Morin, and is also a certified Health Coach with years of experience in mental health services. 

 

Outside of her work, Jess enjoys all things that invoke beauty and awe – playing music, exploring the natural world, reading, writing, creating and traveling.

Joanie's approach reflects her way of life: intuitive, grounded, positive and heart-centered. Rooted in the wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga, her offerings also integrate western understandings of musculoskeletal work to help you thrive and feel whole. She brings joy and deep listening to her work, creating a safe and nurturing environment where all are welcome. Joanie utilizes her diverse background and intuitive guidance to serve each person individually.

Joanie is certified as an Ayurvedic health counselor, massage therapist and yoga instructor, and trained in spiritual mentoring & health coaching. She studied with many talented teachers including
Dr. Paul Dugliss, MD, Dr. Vasant Lad and Dawn Mulheron.
 
Joanie also loves to dance, connect with fellow humans, cook and play barefoot in the woods (or on a snowboard!)

Sierra Klotz

Myofascial Release

Intuitive Bodywork 

 

Sierra is consistently fascinated by and in awe of  the movement of life. Offering Myofascial Release Bodywork at Blossom Wellness Center, Sierra draws on her vast knowledge as a physical therapist to help her clients live pain free. In her sessions, she practices a deep listening approach that weaves mindfulness and guided imagery to alleviate tension and rediscover the natural healing powers within. With gentle counseling, she outlines the optimal challenge to build strength and inner confidence. 

 

Sessions include: 

  • Myofascial Release

  • Functional Mobilization & Corefirst Strategies 

  • Physical Therapy

  • Meditation Instruction

  • Intuitive Energetic Bodywork

 

Sierra graduated in 2015 from the University of Vermont in Athletic Training and went on to get her doctorate in Physical Therapy. She completed a 10-week internship at the Institute of Physical Arts, learning many Functional Mobilization Techniques and Corefirst Strategies. She has also trained for over 10 years in various embodiment and mindfulness practices, as well asJohn Barnes Myofascial Release methods. 

 

Sierra enjoys all activities in which she can root her feet and let her heart sing, including dancing, yoga, nature walks, cooking, and rejoicing with friends.

Johannah Tallon

Ayurvedic Bodywork
Abhyanga Massage

 

As an Ayurvedic bodyworker, Johannah draws from the ancient wisdom and nourishing routines of Ayurveda. Her understanding of the physical and energetic body is rooted in her years of experience with Ashtanga Yoga. Her approach centers individualized care and curiosity informed by traditional techniques. 

Her offerings include: 

  • Abhyanga & Vishesh massage 

  • Swedana steam therapy 

  • Shirodhara mind balancing treatment 

 

In 2019 Johannah became a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor through Kripalu. She has since made 2 trips to India to further her studies in Yoga, Bodywork, and Panchakarma. Since 2021, she has practiced as a Panchakarma therapist at the Ayurvedic Center of Vermont. 

Johannah is a lover of movement and spends much of her time teaching yoga and fitness classes. She is pursuing a masters degree in counseling. She plans to integrate Yoga and Ayurveda into mental health counseling. Outside of practice Johannah loves swimming in lakes, dancing to Latin music, and climbing mountains.

Rebecca Szeg

Integrative Massage Therapy
 

As a registered Massage Therapist, Rebecca greatly enjoys connecting with people and supporting clients on their healing journey.

Rebecca's treatment modalities include:

  • Hot Stone Therapy

  • Aromatherapy

  • Reiki Energy Healing

 

Rebecca believes in  the power of intention and focuses on being grounded and present with her clients. She also spent 8 years working in social services with developmentally disabled adults and delights in supporting people as they move along their own path.

She holds a Massage Therapy Certificate from the Great Bay Community College and is licensed in the state of New Hamphire.

Rebecca is settling back to living in Vermont after almost a decade away from the Green Mountain State.  She loves to spend time in nature with family, friends, and her beloved pup Bentley.

Kristen Bozarth

Integrative Massage Therapy
 

Rooted in deep listening, Kristen’s approach to integrative massage is founded on the belief that all bodies have a story to tell.She naturally creates  a safe space for the body to yield into the simplistic medicine of attuned presence. In this nurturing environment , we can truly honor the wisdom and intelligence of one’s mind and  body connection. 

Kristen brings her passion and years of experience to offer:

  • Hot Stone

  • Energy work/Reiki

 

Kristen graduated in 2013 from National Massage Therapy Institute in Philadelphia. Also interested in helping others create room  for healing and sustain a more balanced lifestyle , she is studying NeuroAffective Touch under Dr. Aline Lapierre.

In her free time, Kristen likes Yoga Nidre, Breathwork, collecting vinyl and listening to Blues!

Kara Peterson

Integrative Massage Therapy

 

Kara's passion for massage therapy is rooted in a collaborative approach. In connecting with her clients, she is able to provide relaxation and healing for the mind and body. Her holistic approach stems from her studies with Bob Onne at the Universal Institute of Healing Arts in Middlesex, VT.

Kara offers:

  • Deep Tissue & Swedish Massage

  • Acupressure & Assisted Stretching

  • Hot Stone & Thermotherapy

  • Prenatal Massage

  • Energy Work

Since graduating in 2018, she has spent time building and expanding her skills in deep tissue, medical and injury treatment focused massage as well as creating signature style massages to best fit each individuals desired experience.  Kara currently works in the social services full time and part time as a Certified Massage Therapist.

 

In her free time, Kara enjoys hiking, spending time with friends, family and her two kitties, swimming, working out, dancing and seeing live music.

Erica Getto

Amma Therapy
Shiatsu Massage
Integrative Massage

 

Erica's goal while in treatment is to provide a safe and grounding space for clients to arrive back in their bodies. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Asian Bodywork therapies, Erica's touch is both energetic and physical, moving and still, intuitive and knowledgeable. A more clinical approach to massage, Erica learns as much as she can about a person to target specific areas and create ease where there is dis-ease.

 

Her offerings include:

  • Amma Therapy

  • Shiatsu massage (on a mat)

  • Mix Amma/Shiatsu sessions

  • Cupping, Gua Sha, Moxibustion

  • Tuina

  • Shonishin (pediatric massage)

In her free time, Erica enjoys skiing, paddleboarding, hiking and biking. She is often found in the woods with her dogs, playing guitar on a porch, and cooking delicious meals for friends and family.

Sami Walden

Integrative Massage
Deep Tissue
Craniosacral therapy

 

Sami’s approach is grounded in presence and loving awareness. Guided by the wisdom of each client’s body, she provides a safe space for the nervous system to find deep rest and balance. Her practice draws upon over a decade of studies in the holistic healing arts and her Buddhist path of practice.

 Sessions include: 

  • Deep tissue

  • Swedish/Therapeutic

  • Integrative bodywork

  • Craniosacral therapy

  • Energy work

 

Sami graduated from the Pacific Center of Awareness and Bodywork on the island of Kauai, HI in 2016. A steady student, she is currently enrolled in a 2-year bio dynamic craniosacral training where she is learning to work with the more subtle systems of the fluid body. Prior to moving to VT, she was living and working at a Buddhist meditation center in the mountains of NC and in the past four years she has spent over 100 nights in silent retreat.

She finds great joy in the imaginal realms inspired by dreams, poetry, and all forms of creativity that evoke a sense of magic, beauty and stillness amongst the chaos of life.
