Wellness Consultations

Whether receiving or treating others, Ayurvedic Bodywork is Marisa’s true passion. In her own words, “Ayurveda has brought my life so many profound and priceless gifts, and I am humbled beyond measure to share this intelligent body of healing arts with my community.”

Marisa specializes in:

  • Abhyanga

  • Vishesh

  • Swedana

  • Shirodhara

  • Marma therapy (acupressure)

She offers her healing work with love, attention and grace, and is always learning new healing techniques!

When not working her magic on her clients or laughing (loudly) in the Blossom hallway, you can find Marisa pouring her love into MJH Ayurvedic Body Oils + Ritual Elixirs, playing with her cat James, falling in love again and again with the Green Mountains, and doing her best to accept her perfect imperfection and encouraging others to do the same.

Roxi portrait

Roxi Garland

Yoga instruction

Roxi is an ambitious asana instructor, trained in alignment-based flow and Yin Yoga.

Her creative vinyasa sequences are intentionally constructed to demonstrate the importance of proper anatomical alignment, while linking breath with movement and strength with flexibility. That said, no matter which class she is guiding, Roxi creates a container where students are invited to explore their space and their body in their own unique way.

Roxi’s classes are grounded in gratitude. She wholeheartedly asserts that when we practice gratitude, ease and contentment on the mat, we are better equipped to practice these same qualities off the mat.

What her students say: “She has a clear and fluid no nonsense style with active but peaceful energy”. “She finds a nice balance between calm, energetic and playfulness”. “She gives the best physical assists with firm but gentle hands”.

Off the mat, Roxi works for Recovery Vermont. She enjoys alpine skiing, trail walking with her pups, shopping for things that she says she doesn’t really need and spending quality time with her family.
